Do You Know What Today Is??

It's My Anniversary Guess what y'all?!?!?! Today marks the day that I OFFICIALLY moved to Phoenix, Az! We all envision, dream, or even plan out how things will work but the universe (or God) sometimes has a different plan for us. What Is Love? A word that has so many different meanings depending on who you may ask...music artists, such as  Lauryn Hill (The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill) & Mack Wilds (New York: A Love Story) prove this point on their highlighted albums with a snippet of them asking individuals what their definition of love was. I've decided to let y'all know about one of the books I've read during my social media fasting for lent (February 26th-April 12th) since it had an impact on my way of thinking. So, if there was any wonder to why I wasn't posting during that time period its because I gave it up. Birthday, it's ya birthday "Alexa... please play Whodini- Friends." About a month ago I embarked on a MINI trip to New York. Normally, I go out there to meet up with my family or maybe a concert, but this time around was a special occasion becauseeeeee *drumroll* it was my friends birthday! I met this young lady at work some years back. Our friendship blossomed from just being work pals to a genuine friendship, so of course I was happy to be apart of the festivities because we all know that sometimes it can be challenging to mix different sets of friends (childhood, school, work,etc). The birthday plans were from Saturday until Sunday afternoon.
