Henny&Waffles Lit or Nah

Hot Ass Vibe.

For almost the last 3 years, The AMG Entertainment Group has been providing brunch and day party vibes from one coast to the other. They provide more than just a vibe but an EXPERIENCE that will leave you and your squad wanting to grab tickets for the next event. The tickets can be purchased off Eventbrite and I highly suggest once you and your squad decide to attend to NOT play around and grab them tickets! Don't be like some of my friends who only got to experience the day party lol. The brunch ended up selling out within weeks of the event.

I currently live in Delaware, and DC is about a two hour car drive (depending on your speed). My squad and I ended up running behind schedule and of course we hit traffic and still needed to check into our room and change. We end up making good timing and grabbing an Uber XL. Then the unthinkable happens! We hit traffic and ended up making multiple detours in our Uber leaving us about 15 minutes or so left for brunch. Mind you the hotel was about a 15 minute drive but we were in the Uber for over 30 mins. Luckily, the security guard at the door was cool af and let us all in before the switch from brunch to day party.

We literally made it in enough time to get some good food (shouldn't drink on an empty stomach)!! The menu included Hennessy whole wings, waffles, mac and cheese, grits, eggs, fried fish, crab balls, salad, and bacon. It probably was other things but you know when you late you miss out on shit. Sadly, we did have to stand up and eat since there was no where for us to sit, but the food was good and the DJ was doing his thang so it was all good. At this point, we finished eating and we're ready to start drinking and turning up. That's when the venues computer system went down! #tragicaf  😢

The bar eventually turned into a cash only bar. But someone used their noggin and created a cash app account. #winning  

I loved the concept of the live drummer (he killed it!) with the DJ. Black Alley had the place jumpin and Big Krit (yes Big Krit!) had the place going crazy. Of course, I was close to the stage, well as close as I could get when Big Krit performed. SN: check his music out he's pretty dope. We ended up leaving after he performed which was about an hour before the event was over.

Once everyone started dancing and moving around the temperature quickly spiked. It got hot!!! I had to get napkins to make sure I didn't have a sweaty glow. Other than the temperature and the system malfunction; the food was on point, event was beyond lit, and this was an ENTIRE vibe that you and your squad NEED! I highly recommend going and DEFINITELY arriving on time! Lol.
