Hey y'all heyyyy!!!

Before I dive into this blog post let me first start off by apologizing to you all.

I am soooo sorry that I have not posted my 30th birthday blog! 😭

I definitely started working on it and had every intention of posting before I went back home to visit family and friends last month, HOWEVER my laptop would not let me save my updates on the post. (yes I traveled during Rona and this wasn't the first time either!) I was also trying to put my pictures in a prettier format for y'all and that was a whole 'notha thang.

But I do have some EXCITING news for you guys.......I officially have my very own website!!!! So go ahead and check it out. I will be posting all my future blogs including my birthday blog and any other content on that site.


I am super excited for this transition especially since this was a goal for 2021.

There Must Be Something In The Water

A Weekend To Remember As some of you may know (those who follow me on social media ) I recently had the privilege of attending Pharrell's first and hopefully annual Something in the Water festival . Pharrell originally published the first IG post about the festival March 4th and the event was sold out by March 27th! Normally, I take my talents to Made in America festival  (got to see Beyonce perform) but I feel like the lineup over the last couple of years was not that impressive, needless to say I was looking for a new festival to attend. I originally had my eyes set out on Broccoli City Festival (D.C) which fell on the exact same weekend as Something In The Water! I quickly decided on Pharrell's festival for the experience, plus I've never been to Virginia Beach, and to say I went there the first year! What Is Love? A word that has so many different meanings depending on who you may ask...music artists, such as  Lauryn Hill (The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill) & Mack Wilds (New York: A Love Story) prove this point on their highlighted albums with a snippet of them asking individuals what their definition of love was. I've decided to let y'all know about one of the books I've read during my social media fasting for lent (February 26th-April 12th) since it had an impact on my way of thinking. So, if there was any wonder to why I wasn't posting during that time period its because I gave it up. And to answer your question YES the struggle was TOOOO REAL this time around, especially giving up IG, FB, Snapchat, and Twitter all at once. Lordt! Now, I try not to be out here speaking on  EVERYTHANGGG that goes on in my life; especially on the inters of net (internet) cause privacy is a good thing at times.
